if you wanna know even more about me, then this section is just what you need.
hi, thank you for stopping by! my name's flora and i'm an italian agender person in their twenties!!
on this account i will mainly talk about the interests i've underlined, but if you want to hear me talk about anime, manga and a few gacha games specifically, then this is my anitwt account.i'm currently majoring in computer science in uni, but i've also studied languages (specifically english, french and spanish) in a liceo linguistico (high school for languages) in italy; i'm currently learning japanese on my own, but i'm not as constant as i would like to be.i currently have one tattoo behind my left ear, but i'm planning on getting more done.i came out to my parents on may 29th 2023. not the best day of my life, but they were okay with it, especially my father.as for my main interests:
- the legend of zelda
thanks to an amazing swiss youtuber (now streamer), i was introduced to zelda games back in 2012. i remember watching his wind waker let's play over and over and over and never getting tired of it, so, as soon as its hd version came out for wii u a year later, i HAD to play it too. and i played it again and again and again.
so yes, as of today, the wind waker still has a very special place in my heart as it was (together with skyward sword, but i'm not gonna yap about ss too) the zelda game of my childhood.
time passes by, school slowly kills every single one of my hobbies, i fall in the adhd burnout trap (without realizing) and then 2020 hits. it was my last year of highschool, i was already falling apart and covid made everything so much worse.
that's when i finally decided to pick up a certain game i had on the shelf for too long. and, yet again, a zelda game changed my life: brath of the wild. ofc, it didn't cure my burnout (therapy did), but i felt like that was all i needed (together with animal crossing) during that shitty, hell of a year. and from that point on, i fell in love deeply with zelda games. i played almost every single game, listened to zelda theorists day and night and i was just... happy. so yeah, my second tattoo will definetly be a tloz tattoo.
sorry for the BIG yap but that's how much i care for this saga for you.
PS: ww ganondorf is superior, idc.
- ace attorney
guess what yall! same youtuber, a year later (so 2013) and here comes ace attorney in my life too. nothing much to say about it, i love these silly lgbtq+ lawyers so much. i remember i was MAD when capcom began to not translate ace attorney games in italian cuz i didn't know english that well at 14/15. for that reason, i always felt like i actually never really played aa5 and aa6, so, now that i do know english, i'm slowly replaying all of the games.
also yeah, i cannot escape the narumitsu fan allegations.
- professor layton
and now, the REAL game of my childhood: prfessor layton. oh i have too many things to say about it, but i don't wanna take too much space, i've already yapped too much.
SO! 2007, i was 6 years old. my father comes back from work and brings me a r4 ds card (we couldn't really afford games at that time, sorry level5) and goes: "flora! wanna play a game with me? there's a cool guy with a fancy top hat in a strange village, i think you'll like it!.".
thinking about it still makes me so emotional, but the curious village is officially the first videogame i remember playing. not only that, the lost future is the first game that made my cry my eyes out (and i was barely 10 when i played it).
professor layton (at least, the first three games) is the sole reason why i started to really get into videogames AND the beauty of logic and deductions. as of today, i love solving puzzles and riddles and this love reflected on other hobbies in my life (my favorite manga, for example, was and still is detective conan).
i still thank my father for introducing me to videogames with such a beautiful saga.i'm running out of things to say, so i'll just stop here and i'll eventually add something else in the future.love you all!!flora
